This leaves Hilltrack's Trainz Routes with a single (and the original) content creator, that being myself. He comes with the same usual features my other models have, and I hope you all enjoy this release. The Christmas releases will resume this upcoming Friday. FlyingScotman1257 here, and this is gonna be the new News Page.
Trainz is a computer simulation for designing and operating a railroad, representing a model railroad layout or a version of a real railroad. The simulation allows track laying, scenicing the route and placement of structures and accessories. With the placement of rolling stock, the simulation can be operated in a realistic manner. Additional modules and updates are being provided by the designers, an Australian company Auran, as an ongoing commitment to the product.Auran has enabled others to create 3D models for inclusion in the game. These models can include structures, objects, track and rolling stock to make the simulation more than a game, and enable many in the Trainz community to enjoy it as an ongoing hobby. Models are created with 3DSMax or the free gmax program.
Most of these models have been provided free to the community and are hosted on the official Auran Trainz, and other community web pages. The latest version Trainz TS2009 include updated code and enhancements. You can download additional content from the Auran Download Station, compatible with the different versions. While some versions of the game may be available for purchase through retail outlets, the latest version is available from the official website of, for purchase through the Internet. My website includes details of models, screen shots and free downloads of models that I have designed and provided. Contents HistorySI3D was founded around January 2009, when MSTNoodle removed his Trainz content from the UKBL web. With no other Trainz Thomas sites, SI3D was launched, with their first model being James. They produced Trainz 2006 content until July 2010, when they switched to Trainz 2009, featuring the 'baked' look on the engines. After almost 3 years, they began the 2010 range, which featured metallic paint, steam generating whistles, and eye direction. Their last 2010 model was Percy, and in November 2013, they switched again to Trainz 2012. These were the same only they were a bit larger and featured 3D faces. In December 2015, they started making CGI variants of the 2012 models as well.
They resumed their Railway Series models in September 2016. Currently, their Island of Sodor Route runs from Knapford to Kellsthorpe with the full Ffarquar and Brendam branch as well. They also have A RWS route of the Ffarquar Branch from Knapford to the harbor. After alleged 'lack of respect' to staff by the community, SI3D was shut down on January 27, 2018. A user on Deviantart named had leaked some old 2010 Trainz Content, and when people told him that it would cause trouble and resulting in the staff finding out about it, he would insult and cuss at them. The post has now been taken down, but the user didn't learn his lesson. In the middle of October 2018, Sodor Island 3D returned, but it wasn't the real website.
Instead, it's actually a remake when the staff created the site and claims that it is SI3D. This website was created by NickBoggia1, a rather strange person who has been in the fandom since 2010, the bootleg site created by him has been a bit controversial within the trainz community, considering Nickboggia1 did not get permission to reupload the models, and has been taunting people who said that the site was fake, and even got into an argument with Sean himself, the bootleg site has a few members, who simply defend it, recently the website has been removed. Sean made a simply to say that the website was a fake.
